About CPPI

Since its creation in 1989, the Canadian Petroleum Products Institute (CPPI) has represented the views of its membership on business, environment, and health and safety issues to governments, media and interest groups.

CPPI:

• Develops environmental, health and safety policies and practices for member companies
• Works with all levels of government in the development of scientifically sound and cost effective approaches to the regulation of the refining and marketing of petroleum products
• Promotes guidelines for safe handling and disposal of petroleum products
• Provides industry information to governments and media
